This one-of-a-kind framed color pencil portrait features Bubo, Odd Man Inn’s resident Kunekune charmer, known for his unforgettable face, his striking heterochromia — one blue eye and one brown eye — and his deeply held belief that Tennessee mud is a lifestyle.
Bubo spent the better part of 2024 quietly battling a mysterious head tilt and eye trouble that puzzled everyone. After a long stretch of diagnostics and stays at New Bolton Center, his medical team finally pinpointed it: his lower eyelashes were growing inward (entropion). Corrective surgery did the trick, and by that summer he was back where he belongs — happily reapplying his daily layer of Tennessee mud.
Bring a little piece of his unmistakable face home, and help fund the kind of long-haul medical care that made Bubo's comeback possible.
