In the Artist's Own Words...

The magic in my Holler Sticks is in the possibility of each one's history. These unique, one-of-a-kind sticks were special even before I collected them from the Holler at Odd Man Inn.

Any one of them could have easily been:

  • the perfect spot for Banzini's booty
  • rooted aside while Grace was searching for acorn snacks
  • stomped on by Mama Peaches and the Peachlets on their visit to the pond
  • witness to Lulabelle making her daily trek to and from her cave
  • bumped aside as Daisy and Willy head to their cabins for the evening
  • and so much more...

After the I collect the sticks, they undergo an eight-step process, including preparation, painting, and varnishing.

The sticks look great anywhere you want a touch of color or whimsy in your home or as a conversation piece in a vase on the dinner table.

My intention is to preserve some of the magic of the holler at Odd Man Inn so you may appreciate it your own home.

Artist Bio

I am a vegan mixed media artist with a passion for animal rights and animal welfare. I live in a small town called Thurmont, Maryland with my cat Bobbi.

My creative journey began a long time ago with my mother teaching me to crochet as a kid and has evolved over the years into painting. I enjoy learning new techniques and creating quirky things that make me and others smile.

It has always been a dream of mine to make art to support sanctuaries like Odd Man Inn.
