Odd Man Inn's Spring Art Crawl

Still Drift (Liquid Glass Painting)

Still Drift (Liquid Glass Painting)

By Christina Hennig

This dreamy 6”x6” painting captures the gentle drift of color in motion—cool lavender, soft citrus, and hints of pearl swirling like clouds caught mid-whisper. Framed in natural wood, the high-gloss finish brings out each subtle swirl and layered hue, evoking a quiet kind of magic that feels like dusk unfolding.

Created by vegan artist Christina Hennig, this original, one-of-a-kind painting is made using fluid acrylics, also known as liquid glass. Once Christina pours the liquid glass, she adds her pigments with care, guiding their initial flow to spark interaction—then steps back and allows them to settle into their final form. That moment of surrender—embracing the unknown and welcoming surprise—is what gives each piece its distinctive movement and soul.

This piece stands beautifully on its own or can be displayed as part of a vibrant series—like the set shown below—for an even more striking effect.
