About The Artist

Social Media - @anitagpaints I learned to crochet when I was little, sitting next to my mom while she worked on her own patterns. She even paid me to tuck in the ends on her granny square blankets, which was honestly kind of boring, but it got me hooked : ) She always told me patterns were just a starting point. That stuck with me. Now, when I make afghans, I don’t follow strict plans. I pick colors I love and let things unfold as they go. It’s part muscle-memory, part improvisation, like doodling with yarn. Every afghan ends up being a little different, and that’s what I love about it. They’re cozy, personal, and full of quiet little choices.
