About the Artist

I’m a part-time artist, part-time social worker based out of Kensington, MD with a lovely wife, two beloved cats, and a fantastic dog. When I am not working in the child welfare field recruiting foster parents, I am creating paper paintings that combine my artistic talents with my passions for protecting the environment, empowering woman, positive messaging, social/economic equity, and LGBTQ rights. I am intentional about the subject matter of my collages, whether it’s highlighting a musician who is also an activist, or an activist who is also an artist, choosing to depict a scene from a U.S. National Park in need of funds and policy protection, or highlighting a particular character/story that has some sort of important life message.
