Don’t let the serene pose fool you...goats are rarely quiet. They’re bold, curious, and full of personality. This original watercolor portrait captures a rare moment of stillness, inviting us to look beyond the stereotypes of “livestock” and see the individual within.
This goat stands in for the millions of spirited souls used for milk, meat, and skin...lives too often reduced to their utility. But their voices deserve to be heard, and their lives deserve more than exploitation.
Art can help humans see other animals differently: not as commodities, but as sentient beings worthy of compassion, kindness, and consideration.
