Bubo was used for breeding in a small time meat operation where he was kept alone in a pen most of his life. When the humans were done with him, they offered him to a wolf sanctuary as live prey. They didn't want to "waste" him, so they offered him to be eaten by the wolves. The woman who manages the sanctuary is our friend... a board member for OMI... and a compassionate vegan. She reached out to ask us to help Bubo, and we did. He now lives in our big herd at Odd Man Inn in Tennessee. He's safe for the rest of his life.
